Privacy, plainly.

This policy covers crystalgjones.com and anything else The Gettemy Group, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) runs. It says what we collect, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it. No dark patterns, no definition buried three clicks deep.

What you tell us.

The contact form asks for your name, your email, your company and what it does, where you’re stuck, what you’ve already tried, and what’s pissing you off. The last one is optional and stays optional. That’s it — no résumé, no pitch deck, no card number.

What the site collects on its own.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site performs. It records pages visited, the site that sent you here, your browser, device and operating system, roughly where you are based on your IP address, and when you visited and for how long. It does not record your name, your email, or anything you typed into the form.

How we use it.

Your message gets read and answered by a human. Analytics tells us which pages earn their keep, which ones don’t, and where people stop reading. That’s the whole use.

  • We do not sell your information. Not to data brokers, not to “partners,” not to anyone.
  • We do not rent or share your email address for someone else’s marketing.
  • We do not drop you into an automated nurture sequence the second you hit send.

Cookies and tracking.

Google Analytics sets cookies to tell one visit from the next. You can turn it off with Google’s Opt-out Browser Add-on. We don’t currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, but the add-on above stops the analytics we run.

Who else sees it.

Only the people and tools we need to operate: our hosting and site platforms, our analytics provider, and whoever delivers our email. They get only what they need to do the job. We’ll also disclose information if we’re legally required to, or if the business is sold or merged and the information goes with it.

How long we keep it.

We keep a message for as long as the conversation is live or a project runs, then let it go. Analytics data is kept for the retention window our analytics provider gives us. If you ask us to delete what you sent, we delete it — unless we have to keep it for a legal reason, in which case we’ll tell you why.

Your choices.

  • Ask what we have about you, and we’ll show you.
  • Ask us to correct it or delete it, and we will.
  • Withdraw consent at any time — email us and stop filling out the form.
  • If you’re in the EU, UK, or California, you have the usual rights to access, correct, delete, port, and object. Email is the fastest route and we won’t make you jump through a portal.

Security.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect what you send. No system on earth is airtight, so don’t send anything you wouldn’t want in a breach — including card numbers and government identifiers.

Kids.

This site isn’t for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If we find out we have, we delete it.

Changes.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes and the new version goes live here. Material changes get a note on this page.
